Thats what we put on the picture frame with the first ultrasound photo of our little "Peanut". We sent off three picture frames, one to each of our Grandparents who live far away. With it we had a little note that said, "We thought you would like to get an early Christmas present. It's expected delivery is December 7, 2012, but we hope that you can enjoy this for now!" Each photo was delivered on Monday after we told Steve's parents and we had three very excited phone calls. My Grandfather was the first to figure out what it was and immediately called to make sure he could talk to my parents. It was great to see how happy he was. Then I was able to speak with my Grammey and Popop who weren't sure what it was quite at first, but when they read the note were very excited as well. Finally we spoke with Steve's Grammy who spent the morning crying with my mother-in-law on the phone.
Last night we were able to go out to dinner with Ama and share the news with her as well. She was very excited and gave each of us a great big hug and said that we made her day and made her feel 10 years younger. We had dinner at a nice restaurant in the city (unfortunately the abundance of clams wasn't kind to my nose and I couldn't finish my dinner, even though it was very tasty!)
We are so glad that we got to share the news in a special way with each of our grandparents, but wish we still could have seen each on of them in person.
