First Doctor's Appointment

Today was the first doctor's appointment and 5 weeks!  Talk about information overload.  We were given dozens of packets worth of information on all the diagnostic and screening tests that we would have to decide if we wanted completed to test for Downs Syndrome, Trisomy 21 & 18, in the next visit and further down the line in Tri 2 AFP, hCG, Estriol and Inhibin-A.  Additionally they gave us information on prenatal classes at the hospital, cord blood banking, and other literature.  It was information overload.  But they did give us something to look forward to at the next visit in 3 weeks on April 25th - the first ultrasound!

So far, so good.  No major symptoms other than fatigue and a decreased appetite.  My fingers are crossed that this continues...
